Morgage Index History and Information
Morgage Index: this is a published measure of economic conditions generally relative to other financial instruments. Lenders use these indexes to determine the rates for Adjustable Rate Loans by coupling them with a fixed 'margin'. Adding the fixed margin to the index determines the 'fully indexed rate'.
