SISA Morgage: This type of loan is also known as a 'Stated Income Stated Asset' loan. It's name is derived from the fact that the amount of your income and the amounts of your assets are not verified when qualifying for the loan. However, it should be noted that you still have to verify your employment and verify that your asset accounts exist. (For example, if you are using your Savings Account to 'state' your assets you have to actually have such a bank account in your name even if the monetary amount in the account is not verified). Your employment is verified by the execution of a 'VOE' (which stands for Verification of Employment) which is filled out by your employer.
