5 business days. When service standard is not met, clients can contact Equitable directly by emailing customer-service@equitable.ca. (Note: Policy loans, EL says 5 days, however, they normally process the same day or within 1 business day. If direct deposit, it can take anywhere from 2-5 business days to get to the client’s account. For major banks, they usually see it within 2 business days. For mail, EL cannot control any delays with Canada post.)

Loan History Requests

3 business days (under 2 years). If greater than 2 years, you should receive an email within 3 business days telling you how long it would take them to provide your requested loan history.

Switching payment mode/banking information change

3 business days. However, please note
you need to give them ample lead time to stop the PAC. EL requests at least 10 days notice to stop a scheduled PAC
