Why do I love my job?
What I love about my work is being able to solve problems to make other people’s jobs easier, whether that’s fixing bugs quickly or building an automation that saves hours of repetitive work. It just feels good to know that I’m helping people focus on what they do best.
When I’m not at work, you can find me….
At a coffee shop, reading a book or looking busy with my laptop. You can also find me at a nearby park, jogging or sweating at a Pilates studio. Keeps me zen throughout the week.
How does what I do impact others?
I help make the day easier or smoother for the team—whether that’s through fast tech support, setting up new hires for success, or fixing the automation to help the company. Behind the scenes, Tech people like me, make sure the systems just work so others don’t have to worry about them.
2 favourite things about your life journey so far?
First, I’m proud of transitioning from a highly technical engineering background to roles where I get to help people directly with systems and automation—a mix of technical and human skills.
Second, I’ve been lucky to live and work in different environments, from the Philippines to Canada.
What type of clients do you enjoy working with?
I enjoy working with people who are clear about what they need, open to collaboration, and respectful. Whether they are a burst of joy or not, I’d be able to power through it.
